Updates
I'm trying to be in the Christmas spirit, I really am but it's just not happening. I mean, I felt a little something when watching Merry Christmas Charlie Brown! with my mother, but it sorta exploded into little pieces after the half an hour was up. I'm so stressed and I never feel good anymore and high school may be the best time of my life, but being a freshman most certainly isn't.

I found out quite recently that we might possibly be moving. Cause like, that didn't just happen like, what, six month ago? But no Pira, this is different. This isn't moving fifteen minutes away back into your old house, this is moving to BLOODY MASSACHUSETTS! D: I knew one day complaining about Florida would come back to bite me in the ass. I mean, I guess I shouldn't really say that because life would be so much better up there and my mom would be so happy and hey, Anime Boston and all the cultural witch hunting shit is up there. My mom is so unhappy down here and I could use a change too so at this point, if they decide not to go, I would be a little pissed but its still extremely scary. I'd be leaving Pri behind even if I would attempt to see her every chance and I mean, not only would we be moving out of state, we'd be moving out of the South and that's just such a big change. I'll keep you all updated on that. ._.

One good thing has come from Christmas. I ordered Pri's gift a while back and it should be getting here tomorrow so I can give it to her next Friday before break. She loved it when she saw it so I just know she'll be happy with it. Won't say what it is on here cause while she never gets on her dev, and I'm not on her alerts, she's stalking everything trying to figure it out and we don't want that, now do we? ;D

So Toasty, does Chanukah(I didn't spell it wrong Spell Check, YOU just spell it the boring way) start tomorrow or on the 12th because while the website says the 12th, the pissy Jewish boy I'm friends with has told me repeatedly that it's tomorrow? Cause I've decided that for your gift, I'ma write you eight drabbles and I'm so fucked if its tomorrow but I can pull something together. You know how I roll. <3 I'm also, as of now, planning something special which you would kill me over if you knew but I'm pretty sure it benefits me too so we'll see how that goes. It's something I promised you like, two years ago that I'm finally going to make good on.

I change my mind, all I want for Christmas is Mr. Cat and a nice place to curl up in and sleep. Talking of Mr. Cat, I suppose it's time for me to sleep. Tata for now. -Flees with the intense powers of a tjousand rainbows- Yeah, I'm not gay at all.

Today while lurking around on FML I saw this:

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
